This morning when testing MCP3208, I made a careless mistake of inserting an HC03 up side down. I discovered the chip finger burning hot too late, because I found that the LM2937 PSU is damaged. It is still about 5V with no load, but only gives 1 volt something when loaded.
Since I have spare PSUs on hand, so I would not repair the faulty PSU now. I would just swap with another PSU.
