Now I have completed almost all the point to point soldering work.  What left not handled is the NOR gate thing which I don't have that much confidence that it would work, because my Boolean algebra is rather rusty now.

Now the time has come to start some testing.  I think I would first do a line off, hands on test.  I would first check that both HC753s can be enabled and disabled by the LE signal, and the OE thing can enable and disable the output.
