Now I am experimenting with various lighting positions to get a feeling of the appropriate lighting direction and intensity for a good quality picture. I found it difficult to adjust to get a good picture. especially when the object surface is reflective, like the protoboard with shiny soldering pads. I am thinking of adding adjustment of power supply voltage to change the light intensity. I suspect that the camera got confused and doesn't know how to do auto focus, resulting in this fuzzy picture.
