So I soldered the circuit. It is the first time I make a switching power supply, so I went very slowly, and double checked and doubled checked, to make sure no careless open and short circuited soldering.
I used 10K and 3K3 to get 4.95V. The circuit works the first time I switched on, no white smoke coming out. The output is 4.9V.
So far so good. Time I went to bed.
