HC04 hex inverter driving 3 digit LEDs
This is the first time I use a multi digit 7 segment LED. My only experience with 7 segment LED are using dedicated drivers for single digits, without any multiplexing.
So I am not sure if I am not doing something stupid. Now I am using a HX04 hex inverter to drive the LED. My idea is the following.
1. Guzunty Pi's gz_led_driver's 4 digit enables go to 4 of the 6 inverters, and the 4 outputs go to the 4 common anodes of the 4 digit LED. My only worry is whether the HC04 is powerful enough to drive the LEDs. I guess I need to do some calculations.
