Zyxel NWD2205 WiFi dongle Plug and Play OK
Now I am testing the other WiFi dongle Zyxel NWD2205. I plugged the thing in and rebooted. Again, surprise! The WLAN is automatically connected! This time a new IP addresses is assigned. So I jumped to the conclusion that Debain is smart to do the folowing.
1. If the same dongle is plugged into two RPi's then two IP addresses will be assigned.
2. If a new dongle is plugged in, a new IP addressed will be assigned.
I first thought that my old dongles seems not that up to date and if I should buy a new one, for about 100 dollars. But now I found that this two dongles has a big advantage - that is, they have a LED to indicate if the device is connected to WLAN and also if there is any data transfer. The Zyxel dongle has one more advantage of using the LED push button to do WPS connection.
