XC9572XL driving power
I have been shifting Xilinx XC9572 signals from 3V3 to 5V0 and also using HC573 to buffer the LED driver. Now I have more confidence in driving LEDs, I am reading the datasheet to see if I can directly drive LEDs at 3V3.
It seems that each output pin can source 4mA with 2V4 minimum. In other words, it might be OK to drive LEDs.
I also read about VCCIO. I always thought that VCCIO was some sort of detecting signal. Now I know it is only to adjust IO. So I think it is OK to always set VCCIO to 3V3, because I am not going to borrow 3V3 power from Raspberry Pi, but using external PSU.
