RPi setting up notes
Now I have started to setup the RPi on an B4 size acrylic board to be placed on the shoe rack. As last time, I don't bother to test the keypad and mouse, not to mention the AV connections. I started headless, though I still need the HDMI cable for the monitor to check if the wireless dongle is connected. As usual, the first or second boot does not recognize the EDUP dongle. I lost confidence in EDUP and swapped with an ZxYEL and the 3rd boot was successful to get the IP address 192.168.1.40 and 192.168.1.56.
It did happen, though very rarely, that the IP is only ..56 but no ..40. So I need to PuTTY with the address ..56. This time I had no problem using PuTTY to log in at IP address ... 40.
