Now I have tidied up the wiring of the 6V PSU. But I forgot the details of the circuit. I googled the above MJ2955 PNP bipolar power transistor. But I forgot why and how I did it without the short circuit transistor 2N6049. It appears that I used another similar circuit but I forgot which one, perhaps one from a 78xx datasheet.
