Now I am testing the HC137 based demux by first testing the HC32 demux switch using jumper wire to pretend to be HC137 output. I jumpered to Ground the to be HC137 outputs Y0, Y1, Y2 and checked that the EEPROM and LED functions are working OK.
Next step is to use the real demux device HC137. I have tidied up the messy wiring and used cable ties to secure the dangling parts. Hopefully this time there is no osciallation spoiling the experiment.
