Now I have grouping the proto boards into two, either RPi or GPi. The coupling is only 3 cables, JTAG, SPI, and PWM/CLK. RPi and GPi also have separate power supply wiring. So there is no more diasy chaining, or messy wire crossing of signal or power wiring.
Now that I have a neat and tidy, very loosely coupled modules, I have more confidence in smooth SPI module development hereafter.
